Governance - Biography

Chris K. Visser, 53, serves as our Chief Legal Officer and Secretary.  Mr. Visser oversees all legal affairs, human resources and corporate services operations of the Company.  Mr. Visser was appointed General Counsel and Secretary in October 2012 and Executive Vice President in May 2014 before being appointed Chief Legal Officer in May 2017.  From 2001 until October 2012, Mr. Visser was with K&L Gates LLP where he has been a partner in the corporate, securities, and mergers and acquisitions practice group.  Mr. Visser also worked as a process engineer with Vista Chemical Company prior to earning his law degree.  Mr. Visser holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington. Mr. Visser also obtained an M.B.A, with a Concentration in Finance, from the University of Houston and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center where he graduated with academic honors and served as an editor on the Houston Law Review.
